Ahlstrom Raises Outlook on Profitability

Adjusted operating profit from continuing operations expected to be 5%-6% of net sales.

Ahlstrom has raiseed its outlook for adjusted operating profit margin in 2016 as a result of continued improvement in operational performance and lower variable costs. The outlook for net sales remains unchanged.

New outlook for 2016: Ahlstrom expects net sales from continuing operations in 2016 to be in the range of €950-1,050 million. The adjusted operating profit from continuing operations is expected to be 5%-6% of net sales.

Previous outlook for 2016: The company expects net sales from continuing operations in 2016 to be in the range of €950-1,050 million. The adjusted operating profit from continuing operations is expected to be 4.2%-5.2% of net sales.
